FUN & FREE workshop in improvisational dance on June 9th 2023
N-Rich Dance partners with NPL, Extended Play and The Place, London.
Richmond communities are uniting this summer to bring you an exciting season of events which form the content for the new Richmond Arts and Ideas Festival.
The N-Rich Dance consortium are super busy planning a range of events in the borough and across London from workshops to flashmobs to picnics in the park with dance entertainment. So N-Rich Dance’s programme is even bigger and better than last year and we can’t wait for you to join in the fun and bring it to life!
First up is a series of dance workshops in improvisational dance led by award winning guest choreographer Jamaal Burkmar from Extended Play and The Place. During the afternoon of June 9th, we will be holding three workshops at the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington and they will be open to teenagers, vocational dancers and dance teachers, and adult dance enthusiasts of any age. All abilities are welcome and everyone will learn the Extended Play method in a safe and inclusive environment.
Workshop times:
1.30 - 2.45pm : 12-17 year olds
3 - 4.15pm : Vocational/student, professional and dance teachers
4.30 - 5.45pm : Adults/ Older adults of any ability.
