N-Rich partners are super excited to announce a summer programme of free to attend events which are open to all.

Amongst our programme of dance activities, make sure to join N-Rich Dance at the inaugural Richmond Arts and Ideas Festival 2023 by participating in a range of dance events. This year N-Rich is collaborating with exciting new partners as well as some favourites from last year’s events.

Richmond Arts and Ideas Festival’s theme is Together and Change - it’s true to say dance is a celebration of togetherness, diversity and inclusion; and it enables positive change, promoting health and wellbeing.

  • Friday 9th June

    Richmond Arts and Ideas Festival - How To Build A Universe workshops in improvisational dance at the National Physical Laboratory led by guest artist Jamaal Burkmar, including a special performance about the wondrous human immune system given by early career professionals, and a panel discussion with esteemed research scientists from Imperial College London and NPL about personalised care and treatment in the future. A fascinating event not to be missed and we will post again about how to participate in the workshops or be an audience member.

  • Saturday and Sunday 17th /18th June

    Great Exhibition Road Festival - Smart Cells, a selection of site-specific dances inspired by the latest research into blood cancer currently taking place at Imperial College London, performed by local school pupils, youth groups and professional dancers. Be sure to book your free ticket and have a fascinating day out.

  • Saturday and Sunday 17th /18th June

    Great Exhibition Road Festival - Together and Change, a fun dance workshop for the festival audience to learn a family friendly routine ahead of a Flashmob performance later in the afternoon next to the Science Museum on The Queen’s Lawn. The dance routine has been choreographed to celebrate London’s diversity and inclusivity.

    The City of London - Pride Flashmob performing next to some iconic architecture

  • Friday 30th June 4pm

    Twickenham - Pride Flashmob celebrating our traditional and charming High Street followed by music and drinks on Church Street!

  • Sunday 2nd July

    Richmond Arts and Ideas Festival - Dance and Picnic in the Park; spend an afternoon in Murray Park picnic-ing with your friends and family watching a selection of local dance groups and professionals performing an eclectic range of dances, and an opportunity for festival goers to partake in a workshop in improvisational dance and perform How To Build A Universe to the public.
